What is RADION International?

RADION International is created to raise awareness and garner funding for under-privileged communities in South East Asia.

We draw both the private sector as well as NGO/NPO to come together to create a greater sustained impact on these communities.

Donations are channeled to the outreach fund where it is then prudently utilized to bring the most impact to the communities in need.

Why was RADION International started?

RADION International is started to reach marginalized gap communities that do not receive sufficient aid due to political, religious or cultural issues.

RADION International then engages the private sector and private donors to contribute to these lesser known communities that are in dire need of external assistance.

Is RADION International a charity?

RADION International (Singapore)

is a social enterprise registered in Singapore with the main goal of reaching the destitute in South East Asia.100% of the proceeds are channeled into sustaining our operations.

RADION International (USA)

is pending inauguration to obtain full 501 (c)(3) a non-profit corporation.

In Thailand, RADION is registered as a Charity(Non-profit organization) under the name of RADION International Foundation.

Who are the target recipients?

Our target recipients are communities who are in dire need of external assistance.

These recipients must fall under the following categories:

a) Refugees (Humanitarian Crisis etc)
b) People groups which are unable to self sustain (Extreme poverty, drug affected regions etc)
c) HIV/AIDS devastated communities
d) Children from high risk families and/or substance abuse backgrounds

What does RADION stand for?

RADION stands for RADIATING MISSION. It is our mission and goal to radiate love and care to the ones who need them most.

Not only through words but more importantly through practical actions.

Who is RADION?

Eugene Wee and Benjamin Goh co-founded RADION International.

What is RADION scale of work and project duration?

Our key projects are on a community level targeted to impact entire communities by leading them to a state of self sustenance.

Project duration vary depending on the need, these project usually range from months to years. Sub-projects on the other hand are much shorter in duration (Days-weeks) to cater to dynamic requirements. ie(Blanket provision to brace unexpected cold weather)

Who have we partnered to make a difference?

Various companies have partnered us in our projects. In the latest humanitarian relief sub-project, we partnered Crocs International, Mt Alvenia Hospital, Salvation Army and the likes.

Discussions are ongoing with other potential partners for future projects.

How does RADION work?

RADION collaborates with companies and organizations on both a short term as well as on a sustained basis.

How can my company help?

Companies can choose to “adopt” a project in the following manner

a) support financially
b) support with items-in-kind
c) gather a team for a hands-on volunteer trip as part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program

RADION ensures that each company’s adopted projects bring the “right aid to the right people” so that effort is not duplicated and the communities can benefit directly.

What are the current projects which the funds will be channeled to?

RADION current focus is on the Hmong hilltribe community – both the Laotian Hmong refugees as well as the destitute Hmong Thai community.

This project aims to bring practical aid and humanitarian relief as an interim process until we can lead them to a state of self sustenance.
