The Profile

Eugene Wee

Founder/Director

Eugene Wee graduated with a BSc (Hons) Business Computing & Information Technology from University of Wales (UK). He pursued a career in the Singapore Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) for 6 years and thereafter went into corporate training and consultancy. His work with MINDEF earned him commendation for life-saving, and was later also awarded the Good Service Medal.

He believes that money cannot buy happiness and that in his little ways, he can make a difference.

Eugene took a turn in life at the age of 26. He gave up his promising career to start RADION International to make a difference in the lives of marginalized communities.

Lee Min Wei

Head of Finance & Human Resource (Singapore)

Lee Min Wei graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She started her career as a tax auditor with a statutory board and later moved to become a tax accountant in an international CPA firm. She is currently working as an accountant in the petrochemical industry, overseeing treasury and credit matters.

Driven by a passion to serve people, she volunteers whenever she can, in whatever small ways she can contribute. She was first introduced to RADION towards the end of 2007 by a co-volunteer in a Youth Expedition Project and has since deeply rooted in RADION’s cause. She is sponsoring a boy, Saa, who is in RADIONs StreetKIDS! Program.

Jacob Ng

Head of Collaborations & Partnerships (Singapore)

Jacob Ng graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business, majoring in Human Resource Consulting. He is a heart-driven educator teaching in a polytechnic in Singapore and has been working with youths through various projects over the past years. He also serves as a volunteer staff with Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ and RADION International.

Impacting the next generation positively has always been Jacob’s passion and a priority in his work. This strong conviction is consistent in his life – He volunteered for a family service centre in conducting Guidance Programme Camps for youth-at-risk for about 3 years, taught children in a Christian Sunday School for 4 years, gave tuition for less-privileged students for over 5 years and conducted workshops for a number of MOE schools. He believes in the potential of every young person, and chooses to view them in a positive light.

In his free time, Jacob can be found relaxing with a book over a hot drink in a coffee joint. He enjoys jogging, which helps to slow down his body from showing visible effects of his great love for food.

Alvin Ong

Head of Marketing (Singapore)

Alvin Ong is a full-time Christian ministry worker with Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ, where he has been with since obtaining his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. With music as an area of passion in life, coupled with his training in engineering, Alvin has found the perfect workplace where he functions both as a musician (he plays the Bass and Acoustic Guitar), and an Operations personnel responsible for finance, logistics, and facilities management. In his four years, he has toured with bands both as a musician and band manager.

The ‘pressures’ (work) of life is never complete without the ‘pleasures’ (play) in life. In his free time, Alvin enjoys spying on the latest tech developments, dreams of owning the latest Apple products, dabbles a little in his new-found hobby of photography, loves chilling out in his hammock by the beach, and last but not least, enjoys a leisurely beer or two with his buddies.

Yvonne Koh

Marketing Campaigns & Events Planner (Singapore)

Yvonne Koh graduated from college in 2006 and took a route less traveled. She is currently a youth worker with Singapore Campus Crusade for Christ and works primarily with students in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She has a passion for youth and believes they are like Play-Doh, vibrant and moldable. Transformed lives are deemed a miracle to her, thus being able to witness that in her work causes her to love what she does.

Yvonne also has a heart for the underprivileged and hopes to have greater capacity to help them one way or another.

Charisse Tang

Marketing Communications & Public Relations (Singapore)

Charisse Tang is currently an Interior & Landscape Architect in the private sector. She has a bubbly personality and a penchant for learning.

Charisse is a multi-disciplinary designer who is able to take on any design challenges. Having a strong inclination towards arts and music (she plays the piano and clarinet), she hopes to one day pursue music again and use her gifts to serve others.

She is nocturnal in nature and gets revitalized when it rains or when the skies turn grey.
