The Child Protection & Development Programme (CPDP) is a 5-year project focused on improving living conditions and protecting underprivileged children in communities in Vientiane, Laos.
About CPDP
The CPDP is a 5-year partnership with the Ministry Of Labour and Social Welfare (MLSW), Laos PDR to provide training in the area of child protection and development.
Collectively, we aim to widen the social safety net in a holistic manner through policy-making, governance of policies, and the eventual implementation on the ground.
This project will enable us to carry out community-based child protection activities such as expanding social security networks, supporting education assistance and development for child victims, assisting children at risk or in situations of harm including violence, and stopping the exploitation of children.

Ensuring Child Protection
Developing systems to make care readily available. This is done by training, equipping, and preparing policy makers, community caregivers and civil servants.

Supporting Child Development
This is about ensuring that children on the ground get direct assistance while policy changes at the top level are being effected. We do this by providing weekend classes, mentorship, and support networks.
