Make A Difference

Give

As a not-for-profit, RADION relies on private donors to sustain our mission. Thank you for helping make a difference in lives in our region. Here are some ways you may give and get involved.

Give the Gift of HOPE

At the time of writing, Thailand is experiencing a surge in infection numbers, coupled with low vaccination rates. Across the country, public hospitals are nearing maximum capacity. The most brutally hit are the underprivileged, whose livelihoods have been impacted, and who are unable to effectively enforce measures to curb the virus’s spread.

Covid-19 has unfortunately breached our community in Khek Noi, Phetchabun. We continue to render support to local public health officials amidst rising infections with the use of our facility as a field hospital. Our staff team is racing against the clock to close gaps in the public health system.

Among our initiatives are:

  • Encouraging uptake of vaccines amongst the elderly and vulnerable
  • Caring for patients at our field hospital/quarantine centre, and
  • Educating the villagers on protecting themselves and their loved ones.

All these on top of what is being done to enhance the protection of the children and elderly under our care.

In the coming months, we will need more resources at the frontlines, such as Test Kits, Masks, PPEs, and Disinfectants. We will also require additional manpower to deal with increased caseloads should the public hospital reach its maximum capacity.

To support this effort, you may make a one-time gift of any amount through one of the payment options below, or join the #KeepGoing campaign.

Given the times that we are in, this will be a Gift of Hope.

CORE SUPPORT

UPDATE:

From July to December 2021, donations to the Core Support programme will be directed towards RADION’s Covid-19 relief efforts in Thailand. The funds will enable the team to obtain more basic medical supplies, protective gear, and additional staff as they serve the vulnerable in our community.

The costs of running programmes such as StreetKIDS! and VillageCARE are funded by our sponsors who are matched with a child or elderly in need. 100% of their sponsorship fees go towards the recipients in these programmes.

At the same time, we’ve been fortunate to be supported by a special group of private donors, known as our Core Supporters – men and women who believe in our mission to impact lives, and who also recognise that overhead costs are an unavoidable part of running a non-profit.

The Core Supporters help fund overhead costs such as staff salaries, training, facility maintenance, and back-end administrative support, ensuring that our frontline workers are well-equipped for the work at hand. More than just giving financial support, they have over the years become our partners and outspoken advocates.

As a non-profit, we are unable to offer huge payouts or annual dividends. What we do offer is the promise that we will steward every cent, so that our efforts lead to changed lives. Thanks to our Core Supporters, over 7000 lives are impacted through our programmes every year.
