Our Board of Directors
Xee Yang has worked in education for over 26 years and holds a M.A. in Education and an Administrative Services Credential. She is active in church ministries and in several local and regional church leadership roles. She has served in several faith-based and non-profit organizations that provide direct services to refugee communities and at-risk youths.
Thay Moua has worked in education for over 12 years with children with autism. He holds a B.S. in Criminology and worked several years with law enforcement. He is an active board member of Hmong Baptist National Association and has held various church council positions with Hmong Baptist Church such as church treasurer, deacon, and director for men’s ministry.
Gabriel Ly has a B.S. in Youth Ministry from Crown College and a graduate student at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee in Geographic Information Systems. He holds a certified to teach English in Thailand (credentials recognized the Department of Education Thailand) and has been a Reserve Intelligence Specialist in the US Navy for 7 years. Gabriel speaks 4 languages and enjoys playing the guitar. He has served in overseas ministries with several organizations.
Jerry Yang has a B.S. in biology and Master of Public Health degree in health psychology and health administration. He has served as administrator for two skilled nursing facilities in the Inland Empire. Furthermore, he has served as regional director of clinical services for a leading sub-acute care company located in Southern California. Currently, he is an entrepreneur and actively involved in various philanthropic projects. He finished his diploma in Christian Ministry Leadership through Golden Gate Seminary.
