Between April 28–30, 2025, Radiant International Foundation, alongside scholarship students from the Hope Scholarship Project, organised volunteer activities in the Huai Nam Khao community, Kek Noi sub-district, Khao Kho district, Phetchabun province. The aim was to improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups in terms of both health and housing.
A special thank you to Kek Noi Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital (Ror Por Sor Tor Kek Noi) for providing the space for the Hope Scholarship students to offer oral health check-ups to children.
Activities were led by:
Dr. Pichamon Uamongkol – Dentist from Ban Mai Chaiyaphot Hospital (a Hope Scholarship alumnus from Batch 1)
And a team of new scholarship students
What was accomplished:
Dental check-ups
Tooth extractions and fluoride application to prevent cavities
Teaching children proper brushing techniques
To promote oral health from a young age and instill good, long-term health habits.
"Lung Long," an elderly community member with visual impairment, lives alone in a damaged and unsafe home. The Hope Camp team collectively undertook the following:
Levelled the ground and poured concrete for the walkway in front of the house.
Installed rope handrails to help the elderly resident walk safely.
Built a new, convenient, and appropriate bathroom for an elderly person with physical limitations.
To restore a safer everyday living environment.
To address dilapidated housing issues for vulnerable groups.
To encourage young volunteers to participate in service through hands-on work.
To build relationships between Hope Scholarship recipients and the communities they are committed to serving.
Hope Camp is about learning through genuine service. It's not just "doing for" but "doing together."
We extend our gratitude to all scholarship students, the Foundation team, and partner networks for their full cooperation. This effort ensured the Kek Noi community experienced the care, hope, and blessings from the hearts of everyone involved.
We invite you to follow and support upcoming impactful activities, because sustainable change begins with a heart ready to "share."
