Aid for the Rohingya Community

Aid for the Rohingya Community

By Radion International Foundation | 14 February 2025

Radion International Foundation provided assistance to the struggling Rohingya community with a commitment to their physical and psychological recovery. This aid was delivered through three main activities:

  1. Donating Clothes and Essential Supplies We collected donations of clothing for both children and adults, along with soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and other daily personal necessities. These items were distributed to Rohingya individuals in need, with a focus on clean, ready-to-use goods.

  2. Basic First Aid for Injuries A team of healthcare volunteers provided wound care, cleaning and dressing wounds, checking temperatures, distributing common medicines, and offering advice on hygiene. This helped alleviate pain and prevent health complications.

  3. Art Therapy Activities for Children We set up a creative activity space where children could express their feelings through art, such as drawing, sculpting with clay, and making toys from natural materials. This helped reduce stress and brought smiles to their vulnerable young hearts.

This initiative reflects the power of compassion and collaboration in restoring the lives of refugees who continue to need ongoing opportunities and support.
