The Radion International Foundation recently organised a "Basic Firefighting and Fire Evacuation" training course at the Radion Children's Home Foundation in Mae Kha Sub-district, Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai.
This initiative aims to enhance knowledge, understanding, and confidence in responding to fire emergencies, which can occur anywhere, especially in high-risk areas.
The training focused on providing participants with the fundamentals of correct and safe firefighting, including the proper use of basic firefighting equipment, such as various types of fire extinguishers, and how to select the appropriate one for each situation.
Furthermore, the course covered procedures for reporting fires, planning evacuation routes, and methods for self-rescue and assisting others during an emergency.
This training not only boosted participants' safety knowledge but also developed essential skills for effective decision-making and action in critical situations. This is a crucial preparedness that everyone should have, particularly in organisations, educational institutions, or areas highly susceptible to fires.
Safety begins with preparation. The Radion International Foundation believes that fire safety knowledge is a vital foundation that can save many lives in times of crisis.
